POSITION TITLE: Video Algorithm Architect
POSITION LOCATION: Toronto, Canada
ViXS video compression ASICs are employed in dozens of products
today, if your interest is cutting edge video algorithms, if you
want to see your invention implemented in silicon, you will find
ViXS a fantastic environment for you.
Working in a team of video algorithm experts, you will build next
generation implementation of cutting-edge video compression codecs.
You will develop new methods to improve video compression in our
existing line of shipping ASICs as well as provide guidance on
further ASIC implementations for future products.
The successful candidate will have a strong mathematical and
algorithmic background and is comfortable with digital video
concepts as well as the following requirements:
 MSc
or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
Strong
interest in video processing
5+
years experience in video compression algorithms
In-depth
understanding of MPEG2 and MPEG4 video algorithms
