POSITION TITLE: Product Manager
POSITION LOCATION: Toronto, Canada
ViXS Systems is looking for a product marketing person to define
the next generation of ViXS products. The person will be
responsible for marketing requirements documents, competitive
analysis, presentations, reviewing technical specifications,
conducting market research and going on road-shows with sales.
The role entails working with strategic customers and partners on
product development and reference systems, and working with
standards committees.
The ideal candidate must have excellent interpersonal, presentation
capabilities and the ability to adapt to an ever changing high tech
industry. The candidate will have 5-7 years of technical and
marketing experience in the semiconductor, Digital TV, Digital
set-top, DVD/PVR or PC tuner markets. Technical knowledge of
networking technologies, MPEG, AVC, VC-1 and display controllers
will benefit the candidate greatly. Degrees in Engineering,
Computer Science are absolutely required and an MBA will greatly
increase chances of being selected. ViXS is a reputable
