Description:
The successful candidate will assume the following responsibilities:
 Develop/test/maintain
application and embedded software for the XCode™ family of
audio/video hardware accelerators
From
English written specifications, gain understanding of hardware
blocks and industry audio, video and system layer standards
Work
closely with a team of engineers to generate software specifications
and design documents
Resolve
customer issues for major projects with leading Consumer
Electronics (CE) manufacturers
Qualifications:
Minimum
of BASc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical
Engineering
2+
years experience in C language programming
2+
years experience in programming Windows Applications
Experience
with real-time operating systems
Working
knowledge in Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Basic
knowledge of MPEG2/4 technology
Proficient
oral and written communication skills in English
Any of the following skills would be advantageous:
Working
experience in assembly languages
C
code optimization experience
Working
experience on programming hardware using PCI, USB, I2C or peripheral
buses
