The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) is focused on delivering an interoperability framework of design guidelines based on open industry standards to complete the cross-industry digital convergence. The Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) project is an industry-led consortium of over 260 broadcasters, manufacturers, network operators, software developers and regulatory bodies in over 35 countries committed to designing global standards for the global delivery of digital HD/SD television and data services. Services using DVB standards are available on every continent with more than 120 million DVB receivers deployed.

PCI-SIG (Peripheral Component Interconnect - Special Interest Group) is the industry organization chartered with the development and management of the PCI bus specification, the industry standard for a high-performance I/O interconnect to transfer data between a CPU and its peripherals. PCI-SIG currently has more than 800 member companies, and effectively places the ownership and management of the PCI specification in the hands of the developer community. By adding new features and functionality to the base PCI bus specification, the PCI-SIG is enabling it to adapt to evolving industry needs.
