Position: High Speed Validation Engineer

Location: Toronto


  • 5 years of experience with electrical characterization of high speed clock and bus interfaces
  • Worked with hardware platform engineer and ASIC design engineer, help them to find, pinpoint and debug issues in asic chips and board layout
  • Experience in High speed signal bus pre-compliance test in physical layer using various methods  such as Jitter and timing analysis, BER analysis, Eye diagram, noise test, impedance test
  • experience in clock and power sequence timing analysis


  • BE/B.Tech with over 5 years of experience in SI validation and analysis.
  • Needs to have broad understanding of Verification methodology and concepts in physical layer.
  • Hands-on experience in high speed SI analysis equipment and software (Serial Signal Analyzer, Jitter/Timing analyzer,VNA,TDR)
  • Should have good understanding of silicon/module/system hardware design and qualification process.
  • Knowledge of physical layer test and analysis for high speed bus (DDR2/DDR3, SATAI/II, HDMI1.3, USB2.0,PCIE)
  • Highly motivated with a keen interest in finding and resolving silicon and platform failures
